Jordan Ellis is a certified strength and speed coach, former Division I football player, and former professional athlete. After playing at the University of Virginia, Jordan continued his career with the Cincinnati Bengals and the USFL’s New Orleans Breakers.
Following his playing career, he gained collegiate coaching experience at Florida Atlantic University, Mississippi State University, and the University of Connecticut. He has also worked extensively with multi-sport youth athletes and adults of all fitness levels.
Before relocating to San Diego, Jordan built and operated Thrive Performance in the Boston area, providing individualized private and semi-private training to athletes and active adults.
Now based in San Diego, Jordan brings an elite-level approach to private training through Thrive Performance. He holds the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist credential through the NSCA and the Certified Personal Trainer credential through NASM.
Jordan is passionate about helping every client improve their strength, speed, movement, confidence, fitness, and overall performance while reaching their full potential.
